6th Street
Design Approach
6th Street was conceived as a commercial design study shaped by light, circulation, and a strong formal presence. The proposal is organized around a large porous surface with a warm wooden underbelly, creating a spatial framework that balances enclosure, openness, and material contrast. Large skylights were introduced to bring natural light deep into the project, allowing planted communal areas and shared interior space to become part of a calmer and more collective workplace environment.

Project Overview
Located in Rancho Cucamonga, 6th Street is a commercial design proposal developed for Amphastar Pharmaceuticals Inc. The project brought together a lobby space, interior courtyard, and dining hall within a contemporary architectural framework shaped by light, movement, and public access. The front and rear elevations rotate in response to an oblique approach, helping organize the building as both a directional and accessible environment. Through daylight, planted interior space, and a strong relationship between gathering and circulation, the proposal sought to create a more open and communal setting for everyday use.
